The Fibaro Door/Window sensor is battery powered. The sensor expands the capabilities of Evander by monitoring the opening of doors, windows and garage doors. It is used in automatic light control, access control and property protection. Installation of the Door/Window Sensor in your home increases the safety and comfort of its inhabitants. It also eliminates the risk of high costs for heating or air conditioning.

Common uses for the Fibaro Door/Window Sensor is to monitor activity inside the home, especially when you’re away. You can receive notifications when a door or window has been opened. Evander will immediately alert you of any incidents that should not be happening.

Open the case

Remove the paper covering the battery.

Put the Fibaro Sensor Into Pairing Mode

After inserting the battery, tap the small TMP button 3 times. Evander will automatically find and setup your new Fibaro sensor.

Put Evander into pairing mode

In the Evander app, head to the devices menu and tap the plus icon to add a new device. Evander will automatically find and setup your new Fibaro sensor.

Mount your new sensor

Place the sensor and the included magnet on the door or window you want to monitor.
